Properties:
Higher strength than EN-GJL 250, still good machinability.

Properties:
Higher strength and hardness, but limited machinability. Good wear resistance, moderate damping and corrosion resistance.

Areas of application:
Used for parts that require medium strength and good damping properties, such as motor housings, machine parts and pump housings.
Properties:
Hardness of 235 HB. Good damping properties, medium strength and wear resistance. Offers good machinability and is often used for parts that need to absorb vibrations.
EN-GJL-HB255 (EN-JL2060, GG260HB)
Areas of application:
Used for components that require higher strength and wear resistance, such as brake components, gearbox housings and die-cast molds.
Properties:
Hardness of 255 HB. Offers increased strength and wear resistance compared to EN-GJL-HB235, but lower damping properties. Good machinability, but somewhat more demanding than softer cast iron grades.
